Evaluate the following using the difference of squares.

66 x 34

43 x 57?

Difference of squares I haven't done that **** since 8th or 9th grade

I have no idea how to do that **** anymore

I feel like there is something seriously wrong with this question.

Maths is my thing and even i cant answer this.

Difference of squares is usually so easy but the numbers she's given me are not even squared. I swear this ole bitch is testing me and wants to see me fail.

X^2 - 36.
Then you just find the square root.

So the ans would be (X-6)(x+6)

Anyway will tell you guys how it goes.

1st Problem:

66 × 34 = (50+16) (50-16)
(50×50) - (16×16)
(2500) - (256) = 2244


2nd Problem:

43 × 57 = (50-7) (50+7)
(50×50) - (7×7)
(2500) - (49) = 2451

HOLY **** SIS WHAT DID YOU JUST DO hahahahhaah omg! You're not supposed to subtract anything, it's called difference of squares because you have to separate it into 2 different brackets, the first one has to have + in it and the second one -. You have to divide both numbers into the brackets in this way:
(sqrt of 1st#+sqrt of 2nd#)(sqrt of 1st#-sqrt of 2nd#). So, if it was 4x9 if would have been: (2+3)(2-3)=36


OP, whoever gave you this, you can't work this out because the square root of the numbers given are not whole numbers...
