I've recently gotten into the albums from Lily Allen and Amy Winehouse after liking the singles they released for quite some time.
They're both from the UK, have lashed out at each other to the delight of many NME readers, they both have found recent US chart success, they both have upcoming sold out tours of North America to promote their albums, and in the words of the wise Homer J. Simpson, "You're in direct competition!"
So, who do you like better?
Although Lily has a consistent, more catchier album, Amy Winehouse has a half dozen tracks on her album that are all knockouts and far better than anything Lily has on her album. In terms of talent, I'd side with Amy Winehouse.
^ as you can see, In America we don't listen to things based on talent (just look to the fact that paris hilton's album was certified gold). Amy has more talent, but people listen to Lily much more. I vote for Amy.
The poll question was meant to imply between the two of the artists listed, just because there has been so much hype around them as of late, and lots of room for comparison.
