it makes me wonder if this song was given to them tho instead of being a 'cover'. the song has been out for less than 2 weeks, it's weird that they had time to record the cover, rehearse and shoot a video, and get it edited by now. not to mention the instrumental sounds identical to Ariana's...

I believe that this song was produced by Damon Sharpe (GU's manager) So since it didn't go on Yours Truly he gave it to the girls to record as a cover.
