And downloading apps. I mean I play Grand Theft Auto on mine fine, but when it comes to the internet Safari, App Store, iTunes etc. it's like an impossible mission.
My 5S is so fast. If the iPad uses the A7 chip, I think I will buy. But Apple are known for using last years chip in their iPads. A5 when the A6 came out etc.
If not, I'll buy a Kindle Fire HDX. But I will pay for speed. My iPad 1 can still play full games like GTA, Asphalt 7, The Sims etc. They are worth investing in.

The full size iPad always gets the latest. It's definitely getting a A7X. hell, the newest iPad already has the A6X so it has to go up to the A7
And the only reason the part in the bolded part happened was because the iPad events were at the beginning of the year at first so the iPhone would have the latest and greatest later in the year until a couple months later. Then the 4th gen iPad game out with the A6X after the iPhone 5 which had the A6 offsetting that.
