Priyanka Chopra's initials are completely appropriate for her. Everything she says is so politically correct and neutral like a typical beauty queen. Beyonce is the generic celebrity answer to these questions. You're not going to get people to care about you say with formulaic answers. It's Beyonce stans care about Priyanka's existence.

She should be honest and just say she stans for Rihanna like we know she does, but I guess she doesn't want to steer away from the trashy image since Indian tabloids accuse of her being trashy herself (by Asian standards).

Because she has an image to promote and associating herself with Rihanna contradicts that. She used to retweet profanity-filled Rihanna tweets before and the Indian media gave her flack about it.

Also, I'm not sure how giving a PC answer is "bending to the pressure of society so easily". People do that all the time, especially in entertainment and politics. It's part of the job.

I didn't say anything to undermine Beyonce in my posts so I don't understand why you're upset. Maybe the Rihanna mention touched a soft spot. I doubt you're familiar with Priyanka so you're not really in a position to say argue. All I said was the truth about her safe, PC, neutral answers in interviews and mentioned what she actually likes judging from her Twitter feed for years.

I suggest you read what you wrote again, and if you still need help to understand where I'm coming from just ask.

Saying she should just admit she likes Rihanna is a silly thing to say. She may like her, but she doesn't need to mention it all the time, because it may not have crossed her mind, or she just admires Beyonce's qualities more.

I have no reason to get touchy over Rihanna's name. Feel free to explain why I'd feel that way.

I understand that you may not have realised it, but what you wrote reads as an attempt to discredit her opinions on Beyoncé.

Would you say what she said could be applied to many other high profile stars? Would you say it could be said about Rihanna?
