Well, since the second half of last year, Fuse (the music channel) has been slipping.

First, they canceled their signature show Daily Download, which was sort of a superior TRL, but without "votes" or a limited number of days.

Then, all the VJs started mysteriously disappearing; by September, Dylan, Marianela, Juliya and Adonis were all M.I.A. from the network.

Lastly, the music video playlist started getting older...and older...and older.
(They were playing Bow Wow's "Shortie Like Mine" till, like, February. )


But with these new shows, The Whitest Kids U' Know and The Sauce (another top ten show) I think the channel might be making a comeback.

I don't know, I'm getting fuse this weekend

Well since I do have Fuse now on my cable box (actually, on Dish), I can watch this. I really never got a chance to watch all these shows that were on the channel.

I do smell a comeback, from the clips I saw of The Whitest Kids U Know, it looks pretty interesting.

As long as they get newer songs and a 'live' countdown show, it'll be GREAT.

I used to watch FUSE a LOT but not so much anymore. If they want to make a comeback, they need to do the following:

1) GET RID OF PANTS OFF DANCE OFF! THAT SHOWS TERRIBLE!
2) Play more music
3) BRING BACK IMX

I don't even get Fuse anymore, they like terminated their contract with my cable company. Oh well, lower ratings for them.

I remember the Killers's Mr. Brightside having (i think) 200-some days on the Daily Download countdown.

I see the channel selling out to reality/game shows on the same level as the original MTV has done.

no, its not a comeback its more like selling out....
pants off dance off is terrible and obvious that show is scripted, worse it all they ***** it way too much.
i dunno what the sauce is because the commercial dont really say much but the whites kids you know if like a water down version of mad tv and their repeating the episodes like mad. The music is hardly updated, i see the same number one downloads all the time. i dunno whats going on with the network but by this rate it is sure to be another clone of mtv by 2008.

Don't have FUSE anymore, good to see that I'm not missing much.

I guess I have to defend Fuse. A live show is not selling out, its an improvement. Their last live show, daily download at one time, was their most popular show. I really think thats an improvement. As for the music, they do add new videos all the time. The only videos a little outdated are the pop vidoes and that is because mtv usually has exclusive rights to show a video for an extended period of time. The hip hop and especially the rock videos are updated all the time.
And here's the big reason why they can't become like mtv:
If they went to mostly reality/game shows, they would get run out of business by mtv. mtv is already established in that genre, sometimes having as much as 7 of the top 10 most watched shows on cable television. Fuse would not be able to compete and be driven out of business. That is why they can't become like mtv.
And just to actually agree with someone, fuse needs to get rid of pants off dance off. It really sucks.
