Time UK- Hirschbiegel shows no signs of a cinematic heart beating in his portrayal of the self-anointed "Queen of Hearts", and rarely goes beyond made-for-television territory

Empire Magazine- More terrible and tacky than one could have imagined, it will soon be forgotten and consigned to the True Movies channel to play alongside television movies about Karen Carpenter, Jayne Mansfield and Jackie Kennedy.

The Times- There are a number of lines you never, ever want to hear Diana, Princess of Wales say, and they include: “I love feeling your hand there”, and “Yes, I’ve been a mad bitch”. Even when these lines are delivered by the fragrant Naomi Watts, doing her level best with a squirmingly embarrassing script, this film is still atrocious and intrusive.

i feel like it is only so low because its a movie based on Diana. Anything about her that comes of negative lets just say is seen as a no-no; of course the movie has such low scores
