Hey everyone! Out of nowhere I decided to get this idea to start my own blog, so now I am! There's nothing really interesting going on in my life right now (well my girlfriend broke up with me last week, but I'm over that ).

So now I'm kinda going to steal Ryan's idea and talk about songs going on in my life...

A Perfect Circle - "Blue"
I just started to really get into this song and all I can say is ****ING AMAZING! Maynard's vocals are spectacular, and the guitar playing and lyrics are moving. All I have to say is phenominal.

Taking Back Sunday - "A Decade Under the Influence"
I bought this song not too long ago and I already have 48 plays on it, and I'm nowhere hear sick of it. Adam's voice, the lyrics, the meaning of the song, this is probably one of my favorite songs ever.

Modest Mouse - "Dashboard"
At first I didn't really like this song, but my god it's so ****ing catchy. Definitely one of their best songs!

Korn "Here To Stay"
How come I never hear anybody talk about how amazing this song is? The first time I heard this song I thought it might've been one of the best Korn songs EVER. I mean this song is AMAZING! I really could on about all the things I like about this song (and seriously I just heard this song this week). Now I know some people might be thinking, "Where has this retard been the last few years?". Now not a lot of people know this (except for Steven, Johnny, and Ryan from facebook), but I am only in eighth grade. The way I got into Korn was when I saw the "Twisted Transistor" video about a year and a half ago. That was when I was in seventh grade and had never heard of Korn until that point (I wasn't into music then, well at least not as much as I am now), and then I heard "Coming Undone", and became even more of a Korn fan. Then I saw "Freak On A Leash" video last summer, and I was hooked. Then I gave "Good God" a listen after seeing it on Ryan's freewave countdown (R.I.P. ), and let's just say the rest is history. So that's how I discovered Korn, and I am just now being a full on Korn fan, and honestly they've completely changed the way I look at music, and I am extremely stoked for their new album.

Well I'm out, and next time I guess I'll talk about my personal life.

That is quite awesome, dude. I got into Korn in 6th grade, well, the summer before 7th. I had seen "Got the Life" on TRL but I was not won over until Issues came out a year later. Definitely an amazing song ["Here to Stay"], and an even better album. ^_^

"Good God" is one of my all-time favorites by them as well, it was even an old username of mine here on the forums way back when.

They really changed my life. Glad to see somebody else likes them as much as I do.

Oh man, so much has changed over time for me. Well, essentially I still like the same stuff, but no longer are my interests as limited as they once were. In fact, I think I got into some of my current favorite music the wrong way but I am still glad because before I just listened to whatever was on the local pop station. I still do listen to it, but back then that is all that existed for me. I think I have better stories when it comes to how I met people, rather than how I got into certain things, haha.
Anyway, good story, and once again, good song.

Johnny: Dude where I am right now is pretty much right where you were summer before 7th grade. You should also take credit for introducing me to Korn, because seeing you talk about them in threads really got me turned on to songs like "Alone I Break", "Somebody Someone", etc. You've also introduced me to other amazing bands like NIN and 311. You've really pointed me in the direction of good music, probably without realizing it, too. Just thanks a lot man, I really appreciate it ^____^

Ke: Actually I found your story very interesting, because I used to be the exact same way with me and music. Except instead of only liking songs on the radio it was music videos. Haha go figure and thanks for commenting ^____^
