So I decided to make this topic because it seems that people are still insecure about skin tone, as evident in the recent "#TeamLightSkin or #TeamDarkSkin? " thread that got closed quickly. So let's make a positive topic for a change and try to boost self esteem of people with either skin tone.
Benefits of being dark skin:
- Unlike YT folk, you don't look like you're 60 when you turn 40. We've all see how badly the white sistrens age and how wrinkly their faces get like a worn out shoe. The sun doesn't play.
- Less change of getting skin cancer. Google image "melanoma." Wishing you had some pigment right about now huh?
- You don't have to use as much sunblock.
Benefits of being light skin:
- Your can actually be seen in photographs.
- Even if you're fat, you can have any Black man you want (not to stereotype, but it's true).
