After a quick discussion with some of the staff members, we decided to revive the Polls forum, which hasn't been alive since 2002. There were a lot of polls clogging up the main music forum, and then after that forum got focused on music news, the polls have been clogging up The Lounge.

Polls now have their own forum, which you can find inside Game Cube.

If you like to participate in polls, this is a good thing, because your polls won't get deleted or moved around. If you hate polls, you never have to see them. If you want a link to the Polls forum in the header, just go to "my PF" > "Edit Options" and choose to show "More Links to Sub-Forums", it's that simple.

We're going to see how this goes. If the forum dies a horrible death, it'll be taken away. If it's fairly active, it will stay.

I like seeing them altogether like that I can choose better what I want to participate in.

Good idea, TC. much easier to sort, and it doesn't look bad with the white 'poll:' thing in some posts while the other ones are just regular
