Poll: College: Are you nervous for applying?

I'm so nervous about applying for college. It's so weird because I'm a good student. It's just I never think I'm good enough academically. If you're still in high school are you nervous or excited or just tell me your whole situation. I'm always open to hearing and helping people out. Pitch

im nervous because i dont know what to major in, and whats worse is im not fully appreciating my education and hence being slack, but i know i'd have to apply soon so ...

I'm in my last year of college, man you guys are young.
It isn't that hard, the applying process is actually quite easy. It is the choosing of which college you go to based on the ones you get accepted into, that is hard. You are basically choosing your next 4 years of life, and maybe possibly more if you do grad school or even fail. But we all go through it and some how manage to live on. You'll be okay bby. I'm applying to college. I'm in my senior year of high school. Right now that's my main focus is applying for schools, getting aid, and scholarships. I'm at a 3.2 23 ACT. Eh solid I guess. I'm really looking into the University of Missouri (Mizzou) as my top school for Broadcast Journalism. Anyone know anything about this school, or how it is getting in? It is literally my dream school.

Go visit some college forums. They're always helpful and settling.

When I applied I barely even cared if they accepted me or not.

But I got accepted into a state university with a below average sat score. I was planning on retaking the SATs but I got accepted already

Remember, SAT or ACT scores aren't everything and colleges don't look at them as critically as you think they would

I did have a fairly high GPA though and did some activities and clubs

If you can get into tech and think you can handle it, go there. It has a lot more respect for the engineering school. UGA's is starting up pretty well, though, I think. This is coming from a UGA biology major.

http://www.collegeconfidential.com is pretty good. The people there are a little overdramatic sometimes and not positive enough, but they have pretty good forums for a lot of colleges and people who pay a lot of attention to the process.
