Never one to shy away from unconventional design and outlandish aesthetic, M.I.A took to Paris Fashion Week to announce her upcoming collaboration project with Versus Versace. Although the announcement itself came as a surprise – with M.I.A detailing the release as only 2 WEEKS AWAY – the pairing of the two design forces itself seems to be a suited match, with Versus Versace known also for its unique flair and breaking luxury-fashion conventions by introducing street elements and geometric patterns, most noted in their 2013 spring/summer series.
