Honestly, they are better off putting out an EP. Their singles haven't done well enough to use them as promotion for an album and an EP saves the label money... Unless they have already lost the ability to make a profit from them.
I am glad labels (or maybe it is just this one label? lol) are realizing that EPs are the best way to go with acts like Karmin and Fifth Harmony. They will spark interest that these acts need otherwise they will end up barely selling any albums.
It does suck for artists though... putting out an EP (brief) instead of an album (longer). I think Karmin would be better off as independent artists. Idk tho lemme stop acting like I know everything.
