Why. One of my favorite songs these days.

It's a very powerful video with a storyline distantly related to the song, but still really well directed.



For you guys who can't see it; Basically J. Cole is a drug dealer. During the day he and his family have a surprise birthday party for his little sister, and that night his home is raided by the Drug Enforcement Administration. That's all I'll say.

Powerful. No TLC though

I honestly didn't really like it. I know it was dedicated to that poor girl but you couldn't really enjoy the song and TLC didn't even make an appearance.

I hope he ends releasing the first version he shot as well.

As poignant and touching as the video is, I was looking forwarding to seeing TLC in the video.

This was totally unexpected and I love that. He could've easily went the predictable route but he chose to do something more cinematic. Much props Cole!
