I just bought this album (at Target, which included 2 bonus tracks) and I love it. I'm not a HUGE fan of folk music but this album is pretty good. It's a great new start for Mandy.
1. Extraordinary - The first single and I think it was a great choice for it. It's radio friendly, has a catchy chorus and the lyrics are very inspirational. Plus the video is VERY unique.10/10.
2. All Good Things - This song is catchier than Extraordinary. After I listened to this song, I couldn't get the "All Good Things" part out of my head. 10/10.
3. Slummin' In Paradise - When I first heard the opening guitar rift, I thought Mandy was gonna throw some rock into the mix, but then it got back into her folk sound, which is good. The chorus isn't as catchy as the first two songs, but it is a great song to sing along to. 10/10
4. Most of Me - This isn't a ballad, but it isn't as loud as the first three songs. For some reason the lyric from this song that always sticks in my head is "And i'll file it in a drawer/Someday". 9/10
5. Few Days Down - At first starts slow and boring with just a piano, but then it gets some drums and the tempo ups a little. Not much to says about it. 8/10.
6. Can't You Just Adore Her? - I love the lyrics to this song. The first lyrics are "She likes chocolate in the morning/She drinks her coffee late at night" and the song ends with the lyrics "I like chocolate in the morning/I drink my coffee late at night" The lyrics are great, but the song itself is okay. 8/10.
7. Looking Forward To Looking Back - One of the reason's I love this song is because if this song dosn't prove Mandy's range, I don't know what is. Her vocal range goes high and low throught the song. 10/10.
8. Wild Hope - I have two favorite songs on the album and this is one of them. I love how there is no drums, just Mandy's voice, guitars, and violins. The only thing is, I wish this was the last song on the album because to me this sounds like a song to end an album with. 20/10.
9. Nothing That You Are - This is my other favorite song. It reminds me of Hilary Duffs new album (not genre wise) because it has angry lyrics with an upbeat and light melody. Like how there is an upbeat melody yet she sings "I must be mistaken/You're somebody else/I hope you burn in hell".20/10.
10. Latest Mistake - It's a great song, but not as good as the past two. The only part here that I thought was a little catchy was the "I'm just your latest mistake" line. But it's still a good song. 10/10.
11. Ladies' Choice - This is another good song, I just think that it could have been shortened. It's almost 5 minutes. They should have taken out the instrumental part and, after the second verse, sing the chorus and end the song. 7/10.
12. Gardenia - This is close to being my 3rd favorite 'cause it's growing on me. Just Mandy and a piano. A great song to close the album with, and it is very powerful. Her voice in the final chorus just "wowed" me. 15/10.
13. Could Have Been Watching You - This is a bonus track from Target. I think it could have been shortened to "Watching You" just because she says that more often in the song. It's not memorable, but it is a great track. 9/10.
14. All Good Things (Raw Version) - This is the other bonus track from Target. If you listen to the begining of the original AGT, it's Mandy's voice and a keyboard. The Raw version is just the keyboard the whole way through, with her backup singers. The original has a more folk feel to it, where the Raw version has a more pop feel to it. 10/10.
15. Swept Away - This is the Itunes bouns track. I bought the album from Target so this is the only track I downloaded. Like "Wild Hope", there is no drums. Just Mandy and guitars. The lyrics are some of her best.10/10
