I think this was already posted in the Celebria section. But yeah, it makes no sense. For them to assume that she is middle eastern makes them look even more like idiots. Some folks need to get off this mind frame that only white folks can be Americans. If you are born in the U.S, you are an American point blank period regardless of race or your ethnic background. She was born in New York. How the hell is she not American if she representing for New York?

This reminds me when that Mexican boy sang the national anthem and he was from San Antonio, Texas but all the ignorant fools assume he was an immigrant just because he was Mexican. People really need to stop this **** and really learn and educate themselves. They're not representing their country well.

I don't like this over generalization. People in general in the US are not racist like this. People are fine with each other and its only the few rotten apples in the bunch that makes things look than it actually is.

These ignorant people in the US are really funny. They only think you can be an American if you're white.

I mean learn a bit of your own past and you'll find out that your ancestors have also immigrated here and they faced the same issues that the ignorant people are giving to the newer immigrants now. How ironic.

I've seen the same thing happen in the UK with some youtube videos. The lady was doing all out of anyone who was not white. Really disgusting.
