I know The Beatles shouldn't be underestimated but there are so many things to be considered:
1. As of this year, Lady Gaga is bigger than The Beatles but The Beatles legacy is bigger than her.
2. Supporters of The Beatles are already dead (most of them).
3. We are in the digital era wherein Tge Beatles isn't a force to reckon with. Apple put their remastered albums in 2010 in ITunes with massive promo yet the albums (though reached the top 10) did not have enough longevity to have gopd sales.
4. Sales in the 90s are bigger than today.
Overall I can see Lady Gaga selling morw but still it depends on whether Applause reach a new peak, a successful second single before album release and the promotion she have the week before the album release.

you know what
The Beatles definitely shouldn't be underestimated though. I have no idea how this live album will do but the fact that it's #1 on Amazon is pretty surprising. And 1, a collection of their tracks was one of the best selling albums of the 2000's.
Like I said, good numbers, but probably not enough to outdo Gaga. I can't believe some people actually voted yes. It's too bad this wasn't a public poll.
