In a press release on her official website, Britney’s team said: “THE TIME DRAWS NIGH FOR BRITNEY SPEARS’ “WORK BITCH” SINGLE, AS THE HOTLY ANTICIPATED PIECE OF MUSIC — THE LEAD SINGLE FROM HER EIGHTH STUDIO ALBUM, PERHAPS? — WILL MAKE ITS DEBUT THIS MONDAY (SEPT. 16).”
The album is scheduled for release later this year via Jive Records and Sony Music Entertainment, and will be preceded by the lead single “Work Bitch” which is scheduled to premiere on September 16th.
