I agree.
I hate it how in the media or in real life people will say something like, "I clean my house all the time. I'm so OCD," or something alone those lines when what they really mean is that they have a regular habit but do not have the full OCD symptoms.
To answer the OP yes, I have a lot of OCD tendencies. I have been to the doctor about it but he told me that unless it was preventing me from exiting my house everyday that I was fine and I took it at that, although I don't think this is very good advice. Mostly though it comes and goes depending on stress level. I don't want to get into particulars but the repetitive things are the most annoying. I've once given myself a pretty bad blister from receptive touching something, waiting and wanting to get the perfect touch before I could allow myself to walk away from it, but as it goes, the perfect touch is either unattainable or so specific that it takes forever to achieve it, giving me a bad blister. It was then that I thought, Okay this is a problem, after my friends having raised the issue to me a few months prior. That was maybe six or so years ago though, and on the most part it has gotten much better but it's still there.
