Author Bret Easton Ellis has claimed that Robert Pattinson was EL James’ first choice to play Christian Grey in the new Fifty Shades of Grey film.
The role has since gone to Sons of Anarchy star Charlie Hunnam but the American Psycho writer has revealed that James was after R-Patz.
He tweeted: ‘Talked to EL James at a party over the summer: her first choice for Christian was Rob Pattinson and Matt Bomer was never in the running.’
Pattinson sparked rumours that he was up for the role after British author James was invited to a Great Gatsby-themed party at his house in LA earlier this year.

she IS a delusional Twilight fan girl, that horrendous book was originally Twilight fanfiction, horribly written Twilight fanfiction. I could barely finish a page without cringing.
I know it's supposed to be Twilight fan-fiction but no.
