People kept claiming that Katy would receive "negative backlash" from the GP because of her "ripoff attempt." It's been nearly a month since Katy Perry's "Roar" was released, and it seems as if it's not really affecting her momentum at all.
Do you think the GP really cares about this supposed "controversy" that the media and blogs keep on pushing? Does it even matter at this point?
At first it was kind of an issue with some of my friends but no one cares. Both are great songs about strength and standing up for yourself. The fact that Katy is selling 400k+/week proves that the people who pay for music are still here for Ms Perry.
