Our girl Nelly is following in suit of Christina and making a guest appearence on CSI. I'm definitely gonna be watching both episodes even though I don't like the show!


Canadian singer Nelly Furtado will make her primetime acting debut next month on an episode of CSI: NY.

The 28-year-old “Promiscuous” star plays Ava Grant, a shoplifter accused of murder, in an episode of the hit CBS show. Furtado shot her scenes in Los Angeles, where all three CSI series are primarily filmed.

The episode with Furtado will air Feb. 7. Two weeks later, she will appear on the daytime drama One Life to Live to sing some of her hits.

The Victoria-born star is based in Toronto. She has a three-year-old daughter, Nevis, with former boyfriend Jasper Gahunia.

The CSI shows air in Canada on CTV.

And FYI, Christina's episode is going to center around domestic violence. It hasn't been 100% confirmed but there has been many stories about it.
