Gary Barlow has confessed that he is "glad" Tulisa Contostavlos was axed from The X Factor.
The Take That singer, who said the ex-judge had "*** ash breath" on last year's show, quipped that Osbourne has better breath and brings a more relaxed atmosphere to the panel.
Asked if he prefers this year's judging lineup, Barlow said: "Definitely, 100%. Sharon's breath is much better! Whatever is going on with every individual judge it affects the whole panel.
"When someone's not comfortable or someone's not happy it affects everybody. I was almost glad for it to end last year so when I heard Sharon was coming back I was relieved.
"I didn't get the impression Tulisa wanted to come back. Sharon's just so relaxed and it's taught me not to be too serious. We're having so much fun."
Louis Walsh added: "If I'm honest the atmosphere is much better. Sharon has brought something extra to the show, she is fun and feisty. I'm still in touch with Tulisa, she doesn't always text me back because she is in Ibiza. She lost her way but she is a good person."
Tulisa was arrested on suspicion of supplying class A drugs following her axe from The X Factor, which returned to ITV last night.
He needs to stop, it's not funny anymore, (even though i'm laughing as I write this)
But yeah she was a **** judge, but he's trying to be the Simon Cowell of the judges too much, you can tell he wants it bad loool, bring Cheryl back ! (very unlikely I know )
I want X Factor US to flop and get cancelled so Simon will come back to the UK show, hopefully he'll be able to convince Dannii and Cheryl to come back too, and we can reunite the best panel.
In saying that if they can't get Dannii, Nicole can stay she is brilliant.
This is even harsher (to me) than being caught dealing coke.
It was worse when he made the comments on live TV. The public dragged her breath to the pits, and she even trended worldwide on Twitter because of this (while he got off scot free )
