I read somewhere that snakes can predict an earthquake before it even happens. Since I don't know where it is...I'll just state what I remember. Before an earthquake happens, snakes know that there is going to be one and escape the ground even when they aren't supposed to i.e. the winter time. Sometimes they even bang into walls. This could be used in the future to predict future earthquakes.
