I Finally Made The Deans' List: Roberts' Top 40 ****down Of 2006
So, last year, I put together a list of my 50 "favoritest" songs of 2005, which I guess was well received by most. I'll admit, this year will be a pretty ****** list, so that's why it's 40. 2005 was better!
Here are some songs that I probably loved for 2 weeks, or played a lot, just not as much as the songs that made the ****down. I did think it was funny that all my favorite rap and country songs ended up here.

Songs 40 - 36
40. Panic! At The Disco - I Write Sins, Not Tragedies
-Kicking off the year are the boys of Panic! With this catchy lil' number with the weird ass video.
39. Brooke Hogan ft. Paul Wall - About Us
-I know, I know, the first sign of shittiness. Oh well, I ****ing love it. How the hell is she singing about paparazzi all in her business, when she's nobody??!!
38. The Killers - When You Were Young
-One of my favorite rock songs of the year, would definitely be higher, if I would've appreciated it earlier. But come on Brandon, stop being so stuck on your band...it's bad for image, ass.
37. John Legend - Save Room
-At first, I was a lil' disappointed with my secretly gay boo John, but after a week, I was in love with this song. It has a nice, classic feel to it, and for some odd reason, I feel "mature" when listening to it, lol. Interesting video, well sort of.
36. Cheri Dennis - I Love You
-So, it was SO ****ING difficult finding a pic for this career-less chick. But wala! You have this. Anyways, this high register number was always my favorite song to sing from Making The Band 3, and I loved it when I thought it was their 1st single. But instead it was this non-dancing bitch's single, and she had that horrible ass video. Oh well, still love this song this spring.

Songs 35 - 31
35. Nelly Furtado ft. Timbaland - Promiscuous
-I was a new fan of Nelly Furtado after the masterpeice "Try", which came in at #9 on my 2004 year end ****own. And this was a much different song for her, but something closer to the rest of my musical tastes. Sadly, radio *****D it, and I got ****ign sick of it. Still am actually. Never wanna hear it again basically.
34. Chris Brown - Yo (Excuse Me Miss)
33. Lupe Fiasco ft. Jill Scott - Daydream
-Nergo!!
32. The Fray - How To Save A Life
31. Dem Franchize Boys - Lean Wit' It, Rock Wit It
-Improving on the #42 of "I Think They Like Me (Remix)"

Songs 30 - 21
30. Janet Jackson ft. Nelly - Call On Me
-Um, I hated this **** at first, but grew to love it. Of course, it still wasn't a first single, but whatever, I'm sure she'll somehow squeak a mil out of "20 Y.O."
29. Shawnna ft. Ludacris - Gettin' Some
-So, whenever I went out, this was my goal...lol, even though the song really had nothing to do with it.
28. Nelly Furtado - Say It Right
27. The Pussycat Dolls - Buttons
-Really, I had been loving this song since the album 1st came out. HOT ass video. From a gay man himself. (:
26. Fergie - Fergalicious
-Yeah, yeah, I know what your thinking. And you know what? **** you.
25. Kelis - Bossy
-Um, yeah, I'm a boss. Get it right.
24. Pink - Who Knew
-Obviously, one of the most underrated albums of the year.
23. The Fray - Over My Head (Cable Car)
-The higher charting of the 2 Fray singles of the year. One of my summer songs.
22. Cherish - Do It, To It
-Personally, I think it's scary to BASICALLY, have 3 of me walking around. They're just different versions of 1 girl. Geezus.
21. All-American Rejects - Dirty Little Secret

20. Ciara ft. Chamillionaire - Get Up
-The lowest charting Ciara song ever, (out of 2 years)
19. Danity Kane - One Shot
-1 of 3 songs from them on the ****down, there will be another in the teens.
18. Sean Paul - Temperature
-And to think, I almost forgot about all the drunken times I danced to this song.
17. Danity Kane- Ride For You
-This was my **** on the show, my **** on the cd, and yes, that video is **** too.
16. Beyonce ft. Jay-Z - Upgrade U
-The 1st Bee song to appear, this is obviously the 2nd best song on B'Day. It better be a single, and I can't wait for a vid if it is.
15. SKelis - Trilogy
-What yall know about this? Probably nothing, "Kelis Was Here" was such a great, slept on album.
14. Chris Brown - Ain't No Way (You Won't Love Me)
-Seeing this kid in concert was hot. Exactly where I fell in love with this song too.
13. Beyonce ft. Jay-Z - Deja Vu
-Ok, at first I didn't know what to think about this. I hated it at first, loved it, hated it again, then loved it again. I guess that's enough for the #13 spot. Still a little upset with that vid...but I love the chicken dance and what I call, "My feet too hot dance", when she's all in the sand and crap.
12. Rihanna - S.O.S.
-Breakout Bitch of the year! She has one more in the top 10. But where?
11. Letoya Luckett - Torn
-So, Ms. Luckett beats 2 out of 3 Bee songs on the ****down, and I think she went platinum. Good year hooker.

My Top Albums Of The Year
So, I didn't put these in any particular oder, besides alphabetical, but these were the hottest albums of the year for good ol' me. Here are a couple
Nelly Furtado - Loose
So, my homegirl Nelly Nell came back this year, and it was the first time I had the chance to know about an album of hers from the 1st single. It wasn't the folky, different Nelly of "Try", "**** On The Radio" or "Explode", but it was a nice blend of that, with a little pop and hip-hop. Hotness.
-Favorite Tracks-
-Glow
-Promiscuous
-All Good Thing (Come To An End)
-Do It
-Say It Right
Christina Aguilera - Back To Basics
So, even though she "technically flopped", this was still one of my favorite purchases of the year. It's more for those moments where I wanna sing and scream, than dance and prance. I do wish she'd get over the ****ing old days though.
-Favorite Tracks-
-Save Me From Myself
-Candyman
-Ain't No Other Man
-Hurt
-Understand
Kelis - Kelis Was Here
One of the best albums of the year! And no one knows! Kelis is always her own brand of funky, and this album was no different, meaning she brought the goods again. I can listen to this album from beginning to end, and Trilogy is definitely one of my favorite songs ever.
-Favorite Tracks-
-Trilogy
-Blindfold Me
-Living Proof
-Till The Wheels Fall Off
-Circus
Rihanna - A Girl Like Me
This bitch. Who knew she'd come back like this? The summer was Rihanna's.
-Favorite Tracks-
-S.O.S.
-Unfaithful
-We Ride
-P.S. (I'm Still Not Over You)
More of my ****down and albums later!

The Top 10 of 2006
10. Cassie – "Me & U"
Remember when you 1st heard that sort of robotic voice over that scarcely there beat this summer? Lovely wasn't it? It may have taken you some time, and then you realized the bitch couldn't sing, but by then, I couldn't deny this was my dancing anthem for the summer. AND THAT VIDEO. Geezus Diddy, why did I tink you'd do "Ride For You" any justice? Anyways, Cassie can't dance, or sing, but she can be a great one hit wonder with "Me & U".

9. Ne-Yo – "So Sick"
It's been a while since I latched on to any type of male artist, especially an R&B one. But this year presented itself with Ne-Yo, who had one of the best albums of the year in my opinion. This 2ND SINGLE (since everyone thinks it's his first), is the reason lowlifes like Bobby Valentino have any chance of having a cd made. Record execs want to emulate this great song, and his great album. Sadly, they probably won't. And can we just mention his songwriting skills? Chances are, you've liked a song he's wrote in the last 2 years. Amazing.

8. Christina Aguilera – "Ain't No Other Man"
Hands down, the best single choice on Back To Basics, besides Candyman. I really am sick of the 60's X-Tina, but I loved the horns in this song, and the old school feel. Video wasn't that bad either, and her live performances were hot.

7. Danity Kane– "Showstopper"
"Color Co-ordinate with them shoes, yeah we diva's but we ride like big boys do." Coming from the shortest chick in the group, that's weird, seeing that I'm pretty sure she has to bungee jump out of her Escalade. I wish more would've came from this, but all I have to say is Diddy. (P.S. - Took me FOREVER to find a different ****ing pick)

6. JoJo– "Too Little, Too Late"
Oh, JoJo. You little ****ty, singing like a black girl, wanting some grown ass looking man to touch you right. I Love You, lol. I wish bitches would've played her video more, but the song was all over the radio. Nice little single that compares to "Leave" and I can't wait for a 3rd, "more adult" album from her in a couple years. But, I'm sure "The High Road" will hold me over till then.
