Will.I.Am will return to the UK version of The Voice - and could be joined as a coach by Kylie Minogue, according to a US website.
The Hollywood Reporter claims that the Black Eyed Peas star is now looking unlikely to land a job on the American Idol judging panel, and has agreed to return for a third season on the BBC show.
And it also claims that Kylie is expected to fill one of the chairs vacated by Jessie J and Danny O'Donoghue - although she has not yet signed.
Sir Tom Jones is also expected to be returning as a coach.
THR says Will's negotiations for a spot on the American Idol judging panel had faltered, despite a positive screen test.
A source claimed that Will had shown good chemistry with expected-to-be-returning judge J-Lo, saying: "They were really funny together."
We reported earlier today that Kanye West had allegedly declined the offer of a seat on the Idol panel.
