I've heard amazing things about it but the graphics are pretty bad. I know it's modded from a 2009 game but I think it's only a big deal BECAUSE it's a mod.
Yea, I played it a couple of times with a buddy.
I can't say it's worth buying arma for because it's extremely buggy. Don't waste your money.
Bugs have never bothered me
Except the one where your stuff disappears. A lot of people complain about zombies walking through walls. And I also hate the "please disconnect and try again".
It's still the best game I've played and the same goes for ArmA 2, most certainly worth my money.
the gameplay and suspense is really fantastic, not much compares. I don't know how well-known it is though.
