Wanted to let you know something that has got me as excited as anything I've done in my career so far.
I know it's been a while since a new single from CONTINUUM has come out, and there's also been quite a bit of speculation about what tune it's going to be.
I'm beyond thrilled to tell you that "Gravity" is going to be the next single.
I've always tried my best to make peace with there being a give and take between the music and the business... And I think it's okay to say that some of the songs that became singles in the past haven't been the most musically far-reaching in my catalog... I tend to hold myself responsible for this as a composer. Truly great composers can make music that speaks from the deepest part of their being AND reach a lot of people's hearts in the process.
That's why I'm so thrilled that everyone involved in this record are behind "Gravity". (Thanks record people.) I'm looking forward to FINALLY being able to play my guitar the way I want to at the "big games"... Expect to see a different performance on TV every time I play it. And show producers, look for the musical guest to run long.
I don't know why I'm so excited about this over so many other pieces of great news. I just feel like I might actually start to get my inside story and my outside story to read the same.
