"This is Us", previously known as "1D3D", is One Direction's upcoming theatrical 3D concert film. Morgan Spurlock will direct the film, and will also produce it along with Adam Milano, Ben Winston and the band's co-founder, Simon Cowell. It will be distributed by TriStar Pictures and released by Sony/Columbia Pictures. It was announced for the first time by Niall in New York's Rockefeller Plaza, on November 12, 2012. One Direction's world premiere for their 3D movie This Is Us takes place in London on 20th August

Listen, there will be lots of lovely hair-ial shots. There will be these beautiful slow-motion moments. There will be plenty of things like that to please the fans. But there will also be things that will separate this from the sort of films they may have seen in the past. —Morgan Spurlock
