it's catchy (Wind It Up), but it's not about sex, and "Lean Wit it Rock WIt It" is the worst song of the year. Problem is you just have really odd taste in music I selected both.
The only lyrics I dispise is the ones that are like, "I ****ing hate you, I'm dumping you, and I'm loving myself." And if the song has stunning lyrics, then I might like the song because of that. Yes, it is a crazy reason.

I could have sworn that "Wind It Up" and "London Bridge" were the worst songs of the year...?
My first impression is always based on the music and vocals. If I really like a song then I also pay attention to the lyrics (or look for a translation if it's not in Dutch or English).
I listen to both. If the songs are catchy, then they can get away with ****** lyrics, as long as they have a hott beat. Examples of these are Gwen Stefani & Fergie. However, some songs, such as ballads have good meaning as well. A great example of this is JoJo's new "How To Touch A Girl." It makes sense.
I usually listen to the beat when I just heard the song firstly.
Then, if the song gets stuck in my head, def I'm listening to the lyric, but sometimes, I noticed the lyrics first and found its gorgeous that would mak eme like the song even more.
But it really depends. But I appreciate the songs even more by its lyrics.
For me, it's a mix of both... depends on the song, really. I've liked songs that I know the lyrics are stupid, but couldn't ignore because they were catchy, and vice versa.
