Lets take our mind off Gaga for a while. This question has been bothering me ever since I joined. Out of all the pop girls Beyoncé is the most relatable with the widest potential audience. I mean,
1. She didn't sell out, and she married a black man (not only a black man but the biggest rapper of his generation), so she keeps her black fans
2. She is lightskinned with blonde hair, so she is also relatable to white people too.
3. Again, as she is married, womanly and not overly sexy (doesn't push societal norms), so she is relatable to all women.
4. She puts out fun songs like RTW and SL, to capture the young audience and sounds like I Was Here or whatever for the older people who like ballads and stuff.
5. She's a mother too.
Katy is less versatile in these aspects, so why is she more successful? Discuss.
