Oh really? Because Katy didn't start working with her until she was already established and very successful. Bonnie didn't write any on One of the Boys (including Hot N Cold and I Kissed A Girl), and also didn't write Firework, ET (the two biggest hits of the era), or The One that Got Away (in addition to many others off TD). The songs she CO-wrote, with Katy, were successful partly because of Katy's name.

Bonnie owes a lot to Katy, actually. They work well together and the results are stellar, but Katy made Bonnie a household name because she chose to work with her.

I can't at my fellow cats paying Bonnie McKee dust. Her songs were a HUGE, integral, and essential part of the success of Teenage Dream. The only people who had more influence were Luke, Max, and Katy herself.
