Oh dear, just got the most hate filled (badly spelled) e-mail from a Gaga fan... for the record, I didn't leak Applause, it wasn't my decision to release it on the same day as Katy Perry's Roar and I certainly don't control record sales or digital downloads. I'm a comedian, I make jokes about pop culture and celebrities. I parody pop songs and poke fun at divas.
One of the songs was going to out sell the other. If Gaga had outsold Katy, I'd comment on it, that wouldn't mean I dislike Katy or her music.
Coincidentally, despite the fact that I poke fun of Madonna and Cher a LOT more than I do Gaga, I've yet to receive an expletive filled e-mail from one of their fans telling me to "die you fu**in fa**at" Save your rage for Vladimir Putin and the hate mongers in Egypt who are killing innocent citizens... I don't have time for childish name calling....I'm busy washing wigs!

Not all the producers, celebs and faux celebs speaking up regarding monsters' vile behavior. They are basically adding fuel to the wildfire. I see Gaga is not 100% responsible in ruining the era prematurely.
