Infinity on High is an upcoming studio album by Fall Out Boy. It is the follow up to 2005's From Under the Cork Tree. The name of the album was inspired by Vincent van Gogh.
They leaked the album to MTV News. They promised an exclusive leak of one of their songs, “Carpal Tunnel of Love” (though we found it here). And they are scheduled to debut their single, “It Ain’t A Scene, It’s An Arms Race” in a live performance for the American Music Awards on November 21st .

Hope the others songs sound like TCTOF.

Personally, if the songs sound more like "It Ain't A Scene", then I might actually like the damn album and that is amazing in and of itself.

Jay-Z Collaborates With Fall Out Boy?

Now that Jay-Z is officially out of retirement, he’s wasted no time collaborating with other artists.
In addition to dropping his latest studio album, Kingdom Come, Hov hit the studio with rock group Fall Out Boy and will appear on their upcoming LP, Infinity High...
Unfortunately the Def Jam president doesn’t kick a sixteen on the album, but he is the first voice heard. Jay-Z’s message is directed at the Fall Out Boy fans who continue to support the group.
Members of the band were thrilled to have Jay open the disc.
"It's so important to begin strong, and I don't think you can start much stronger than this," bassist Pete Wentz told MTV News. "This is a message recorded directly to our fans — it's one of the few times on the record where we speak directly to them, and I think it's amazing that Jay is having a conversation with our fans. Also, it's a snapshot of where we are right now. And years from now, when I'm laying in some gutter somewhere, Jay-Z will still be on this record."

Is the track "Thriller" a remake of MJ's?

Fall Out Boy chose the working title “Thriller” for the first song on their new album. (At press time all song titles were still subject to change.) “We were listening to stuff like Guns n’ Roses, the Beatles and Thriller,” says singer-guitarist Patrick Stump. “It’s not that I’m trying to make something that sells that many records — I just wanted to make it really good.” “Thriller” begins with Metallica-style chugging guitars before breaking into a chorus in the vein of “Sugar, We’re Going Down.”
The track is self-referential, touching on the band’s Best New Artist Grammy loss – Pete Wentz calls it the “most narcissistic song on the album.” The chorus, “Fix me in forty-five,” is a nod to the length of a therapy session.

I like their new sound with thier latest single. I was suprised it was them. I was like "What?...That was Fall Out Boy?" I will defenitly pick up this album....

I like their new single "This Ain't A Scene,It's An Arm Race".Totally rocking.Sounds like "Sugar We're Goin Down" but with alot more attitude and angst.
