They did this in The Netherlands last season and it was a total M E S S, ratings dropped greatly, it was boring to watch the auditions seeing as the acts only perform for the judge of their category and they do 3 to 5 acts before they switch to another judge and category... It was awful..

The X Factor UK ratings have been dropping for years, so this probably won't do it any better.
