Kevin Feige has been talking about Marvel’s long-term plans, and claims that the studio has films mapped out for as far away as 2021.
With Phase 2 now well underway, the Studio President has been looking a little further down the track, and suggests that there are plenty of surprises in the pipeline.
“Five years ago, looking at our plan, we knew that if Avengers was going to work, the movies had to stand alone,” says Feige. “Now we have to prove to the studio that we’re more than just these five characters, these five franchises.”
With three untitled movies slated to arrive in 2016 and 2017, we could see that expansion happen in the next couple of years, while the Marvel landscape could be entirely different by 2021.
“I could arguably say what we’re planning for the year 2021,” says Feige. “Will that happen? I don’t know. But what we planned for 2015 in 2006 is happening.”
It's certainly better than DC's plan (aka let's see if this Superman/Batman movie does okay, guize).
2013: Iron Man 3 and Thor: The Dark World
2014: Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Guardians of the Galaxy, Big Hero 6 (co-produced with Walt Disney Animation Studios)
2015: The Avengers: Age of Ultron, Ant-Man
Then we're looking at potential sequels for all of the films above (excluding Iron Man), Doctor Strange, Black Panther, Inhumans, Hulk, etc.

You forgot the best one of all... X-Men: Days of Future Past in 2014!
Also I think Ant Man and Black Panther are terrible investments. They need to focus their attention on a female superhero, preferably not Elektra, unless they intend to use someone who's not Jennifer Garner.
I have feeling that they'll be a sudden decline in superhero films.
It feels like a superhero overload atm.
There will be. Then they'll probably do well again a decade later. Idk fully though since this is the first time they're doing truly big superhero movies (Justice League/Avengers) so maybe the decline will be worse than what it was from the 90s to Spider-Man 2 and TDK.
As much as I feel there is an overload of superhero films, they keep on being the most successful ones at the box office, so I guess Marvel is just trying to milk its cow... I just can't stand anymore superhero movies, tbh. Some feel totally unnecessary.
Kinda interested in the new Spider-man series (although FOUR films seems a bit much -.-')...
And the new X-men movie.
Not so much Antman or whatever. We'll see. Thor's never been my cup of tea either. Or Captain 'Merica, haha.
