During a scene, the actors walk past a window that shows a small boy standing and looking directly at them. An urban legend began circulating after the release if the film that the boy had been killed in the house the films was shot at. The urban legend was put to rest after it was revealed that the boy was actually a cardboard cut out used in a deleted scene from the film. The video is still spine tingling to say the least. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LPEvJrs-1yM
Munchkin suicide in The Wizard of Oz
Something can be seen hanging from a tree during a scene where Dorothy, the Tin Man and the Scarecrow begin to skip along the yellow brick road. It was speculated to be one of the munchkins being hung. Directors and producers later said it was a bird on the ground, even though there are edits made in newer versions of the film that differentiate from the original. Jodie Foster and her mouth
The iconic cover art for The Silence of the Lambs starring Jodie Foster shows her with a moth sitting upon her mouth. The body of the moth actually depicts multiple woman forming the picture of a skull. This is a reference to the famous photograph by Salvador Dali taken by Phillippe Halsman and is also used on the cover art of the horror film The Descent.
