For one, the source of the pictures said they were SOCKS and secondly, athletes wear high top socks all the time. I see football and basketball players wear them like that all the time at college and a youth sporting events. Especially soccer players when they don't have their shin guards on. Have you ever been to soccer tournaments? When the players don't have their pads on, they wear their socks just like that.
Personally, I think he's bi, but hasn't publicly come forward with it yet. There is nothing here though!
