I love DLC as long as it has a purpose but when it's something like "Get 5 new costumes" for one character for $2.99 I don't use or when the DLC is released the day after release as if they couldn't have just put it on the disc.
I like it when it's free. I like it in cases of expansion packs for games that are like a year old, and they want to add longevity. I don't like it when companies announce that there is going to be DLC the SAME DAY day they actually announce their project. I think they did something like that for tomb raider. What has been bothering the most is that, Injustic: God's Among us had DLC characters 2 weeks after release and then started releasing new characters every time someone farts. It's annoying, cos I'm trying to wait patiently here for the complete edition.
I don't like it. All that **** should be included in the game from the get go. Make them unlockables. Ridiculous to spend more money on content for a $60 game.
I love DLC! Especially when it adds new levels and adds to the story. I also love it when they add new achievements, I'm such a completionist.
I can't see how people can dislike them, if I like a game a lot then it's great for me if they release DLC, if it's a game I don't like what harm does it do me
The ****ing Call of Duty DLC is some of the worst. I remember when I used to play Modern Warfare 2, and the DLC packs included 3 new maps and 2 old maps for $15. At least the games by Treyarch include a new Zombie map which is pretty interesting.
