...don't touch my hair. Yes, I have afro textured hair and yes I know it's not something you see everyday in whiteyland but that doesn't give you the right to just grab chunks of my hair and ask me if it's real or not. I do not appreciate some random stranger sneaking up behind me just to feel my hair and ask me questions about it. Now I know the white species is a very curious bunch and wants to know about the black species (well mixed in my case) and some of the mannerisms but that doesn't give you the right to "feel through my hair to see where it gets stuck at." Luckily for you, I finger detangled my hair for a few hours today. Also, luckily for you I am not a black woman or your head would've been clean off those shoulders.
You may own America, you may own most of the Western Hemisphere, but you do not own my hair, so I would greatly appreciate it if you do not just roll your fingers through it like I know you. Even if I did, I hate people touching my hair. Just because my hair looked straight before I got in the pool and very kinky after I got out doesn't mean my hair isn't all "real" or whatever term you used to describe it...it's just different. And as curious as you are, it's disrespectful to do so.
Sincerely, an angry camper.
LOL no really I hate it when random people touch my hair, it has happened to me about 6 times in the past 2 days
