Its a good phone and durable too.

The Active has been out for a while.

I love the fact that Samsung has to release 10 versions of the same phone in order to make the S4 sales compare with the iPhone.

They need to start throwing idea's into one phone. It's a mess.

I know right? Who is going to buy all 10 version for just the feature?

They could be ahead of the iPhone if they just combined ideas into one phone.

They won't have a phone that beats an iPhone until they do that tbh. They have everything they need, it's just on seven or so different devices :')

why are all these water resistant phones coming out so lately?

Shipments vs. sales. I haven't heard of many S4 sell outs occurring constantly across the world either so.

But why don't they include water-resistance as standard offering like Sony does with the Xperia Z

Forbes confirmed all versions of the S4 count as sales for the S4.
And S4 sales are actually shipments, iPhone 5 is actually sales.

Apple has never reported shipments. They report sales every quarter and firms find percentages of them for each phone. So ¿

Well Samsung don't release 'sale' figures only shipments. Apple is confident enough to always release the sale figures. Because it's shipments, I'd take like 2 million off the S4 and even then that's generous. No one sells as much as they ship.

still ugly

I'd prefer the Sony Xperia Z... the S4 Active is ugly, not to mention the specs are not as good as the S4.

But I like this trend. There needs to be more waterproof phones on the market, I've drowned too many phones (ok, luckily I've salvaged them all, but nobody wanna be phoneless while waiting for the rice to do it's magic).
