K-Fed Settles With Dolby Over 'Science' Sample
Thomas Dolby has gotten a cash payment from Kevin Federline to end their copyright dispute.
Dolby's representative says Federline made an undisclosed cash payment to Dolby to compensate him for the illegal use of a sample of Dolby's song "She Blinded Me With Science" for his song "America's Most Wanted."
Federline's song appeared on his MySpace page in the spring but that version of the song was not released.
Dolby was asked what he plans to do with the money and he says he's going to buy a sailboat, find a quiet place to dock it, make himself a cup of tea and write some new songs.
