i think "harajuku girls" concept was part of the "love, angel, music baby" record...they represented those four words and sometimes they got more attention than gwen...so i wish she appears without them
however, they can make their own group xD

Yes, as in they are cool and great dancers, but change their role/image so to be like regular dancers, she basically did that latter with the album.
