Anyways OP yeah I think the list is solid with legends but some I would have changed the order around for. But I do agree with the list of best female artists on there Patti & Joni are amazing. Tina & Diana Ross >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>. And I thought for a long time Madge and Aretha where the best two female artists.

I wish Bjork, Janis Joplin, Nina Simone, Kate Bush etc... and some other female artists where on there though

I agree Whitney & Janet definitely should have made the list. Since the list was made in 2008 I can see why Beyonce was excluded, plus she still has more years before we put her in the same class as the greats.

I can't take it seriously when only 6 of 100 artists are female. That's bull. I'm not saying it should be equally divided based on gender, but only 6 women out of 100 is absolutely ridiculous. Plenty of women are more talented than some of the "artists" on this list.
