Here in popfusion we all like music and obviously singers. Everyone here has a favorite genere, it could be Hip Hop, Rock, Pop, R&B, etc. But some of the voices in the industry are diffrent than the rest. ALL great voices in their own respects.

Janis was the best known for having a raspy voice. <333 her voice. I also loved it when John Lennon would scream some of his songs.

Lemmy of Motorhead has the most original voice in the history of rock and roll.

It's not even debatable.

Jesus, though, I forgot Maynard James Keenan. His voice is phenomenal.

Layne Staley(of Alice In Chains fame) was amazing. Never got the respect that I feel he was due.

Jonathan Davis. Often imitated, never duplicated. That guy is unique, like it or not.
Brandon Boyd and Chino Moreno have distinct voices too, although same as JD, they get ripped off a lot.

Maynard James Keenan. How did I forget him? The 4 of them and Davey Havok would be in my top 5 rock vocalists.

Bjork and Macy Gray have great voices!!

Nikka Costa has also a great voice.

I love KT Tunstalls voice...and of course the beautiful voice of Miss Kelly Clarkson!

Michelle Williams, listen to her part in "Through With Love". It's fantastic, what a range she has.

Ashlee Simpson has a raspy voice, I wouldn't necesarily call it "good" but OK.

Oh and there's Taylor Hicks, but he just sucks though.

Im a huge Kelly Clarkson fan but i have to agree with you on that. She has an AMAZING voice but its not really original. Although i think Kelly will have her 'own' voice on her third album.

I really think that Brandon has one of the best male voices in the music industry. He's so underrated. & the best thing about him is that his voice is so versatile and he can sing basically any style of music.
