I wondered this, as in what y'all think/do. Do you text a lot, a little, or as they text you etc, so mirroring their behaviour? Oh, and do their texting habits get on your nerves? Or are you a caller or a face to face person?
My friend texts her guy almost every day, although until it's really really serious, I'm more of a 2-3 times a week.
I try not to text a lot so I don't look like I'm smothering. And if I'm the one always sending a message first, and I never get a text first from time to time I don't bother to text anymore.
I don't text people unless they text me.
I might text them a lot if I'm in the mood,
might even talk on the phone if I actually find them interesting.
But for the most part my phone is turned off since I don't really like people.
I would never blow anyone I like up. I hate to feel like I'm bothering someone. Like if I text you at 9:30 and you text me at 10:00 then I text you at 10:01 and you text me at 10:27 i'd be so broken hearted I love when people I like blow me up tho lol. I think its cute

I hate when I respond To people fast and they always reply like an hour later

I do that all the time, sometimes I won't even reply till the next day. I don't text too fast cause I don't wanna seem thirsty, other times I just forget, or have nothing to say.
I try not too because I don't want to come off as overbearing. So I'll text them and then when they respond that's just when they respond and then go from there.
The last guy I was into, we texted about a couple of days throughout the week and even talked on the phone a few times as well.
