At Madonna's peak, Madonna was super iconic, we can all agree with that. Living in a predominantly black community, I can honestly say Beyonce is the most popular of the pop girls. It's like all black people stan for Beyonce. When she was pregnant, everybody in my school wore baby bumps. Some girls even got pregnant themselves.
So, back to the question, is Beyonce in the Madonna of the black community?
Welp at the pregnancy. She has made strong r&b influenced songs hits and mega hits at that. Also she's adored because she's right in the middle with her look, hair and skin tone. So yes.

Oh. But Madonna caused a lot of outrage with people and many hated her. Beyonce is disliked by some but not for the same reasons though (songwriting+copying is one of them).
Beyonce is iconic and bound to be legend like Madonna, fine. But Madonna is known for pushing boundaries and at times being offensive/over the top - not just on stage either. Beyonce is rather wholesome and PG compared to Madonna. There is no Black Madonna tbh. Lady Gaga is the new Madonna. Beyonce is Tina Turner's offspring. And to finish off the trinity, Britney is the White Janet Jackson.

I don't think Beyonce had anything to do with that, honey. Girls don't go around saying "Hey! Beyonce's pregnant and now imma knock myself up just like her!." Then again, I don't know what kinda school you go to, so I might just be underestimating here.
