A fifth film in the franchise has been confirmed for an October 25, 2013 release. Oren Peli, the creator of the franchise, will return to produce the fifth film, Katie Featherston will return to reprise her role as Katie & Demi Lovato as a younger figure of Katie which isn't quite confirmed yet.
