Non black artists sometimes get nominated, but it's very rare for them to perform. I don't think he performed on them when his last album came out

I wonder if he will be apart of Charlie Wilson tribute. Christina Aguilera performed at the BET Awards back in 2001, but it wasn't for any of her own music - it was as a tribute to Whitney Houston.
