I think Hurt is such an emotional and powerful ballad. It's something so many people can relate to, losing a loved one and not being able to tell them what you wanted to. I think it will have huge success, look at One Sweet Day. It's also currently #1 on Mediabase's taking off chart. One of my favorites off of B2B, and a clear favorite from Popfusion referencing the Survivor of B2B.
Illegal ft Santana is not a favorite of mine from Shakira. My favorite english ballad from her has to be Underneath Your Clothes because it was quite unique. Illegal is above average for me but not stellar. It will be interesting to see how the radio and the US market will take with that song.
i will go with "illegal" because it's very unique. she blames herself for the lost of her lover that left her for another woman, then at the end she lets go "open heart". very interesting I like christina "hurt" too but im going with shakira this time
